Smoothies are always a preferred snack at any time of the day not only because its healthy but also it’s a complete snack with fresh fruits or fresh vegetables or sometimes both and your choice of liquid and sweetener. It energizes the body and helps sustain for the odd hours of the day. I personally feel that smoothies are a great way to stay hydrated.
This is a sponsored post but the opinion is all mine.
There is no rule to make a smoothie. The only requirement for a smoothie is a good blender. I usually prefer replenishing myself with smoothie after my workout routine so while looking through the shelves of my refrigerator my door knocked and VOILA!…… I received these delicious and protein rich hemp snacks from Hempsgood. It was hard to resist and immediately started popping these snacks into my mouth. I was amazed to find a variety of flavors infused into hemp seeds and they tasted wonder.
Making of Quick Raspberry Hemp Snack Smoothie
I went a little out of my box and decided to explore more with these snacks. Immediately, I grabbed some raspberries and blended these beautiful red berries with banana to sweeten my smoothie naturally. Then, I added almond milk to facilitate the blending process and also to add calcium to my drink and topped this refreshing Quick Raspberry Hemp Snack Smoothie with one of the flavored hemp seeds. Yum!
Couldn’t have asked for a better after workout snack with complete and balanced nutrition.
7 grams of complete protein, gluten free and vegan these hemp snacks are filled with omega 3 and are low in sugar. These snacks are good to be enjoyed as is but I loved them in my smoothie as well. I am totally enjoying these flavored hemp snacks that comes in 3 flavors….. Sweet cinnamon, Thai coconut lemongrass and Southwest Barbeque.

The snack says Bhang…isn’t that a weed? I am cofused

Hi Shilpa, I understand your concern. But the company is using the word just as an expression to make their name attractive and they don’t mean it the way its meant in hindi. You can certainly use regular hemp seeds in this smoothie since I have tried with regular hemp seeds as well and it tastes delicious.

So many smoothie recipes floating around out there. I tend to keep to the basics. Have never tried hemp and will have to see if I can find it in any of the stores I shop.
